Imagine having an afternoon that is all about you. You & your baby show up to my studio (a peaceful place to get ready in). We can chat, drink coffee, listen to music, or even watch your favorite show all while you do your hair and makeup (or have a hired professional artist do it - your choice).


Next, we get you dressed from my luxury client closet. You will choose two outfits for you & baby. We will do some photos of just baby & baby & you before your husband & family show up. This allows us to take it slow in a relaxing environment.


Once your family shows up, we will get them dressed from my client closet and continue shooting.


Please note that your family can be there and shooting with us throughout this whole process. You can also skip the getting ready portion if you prefer to do this in your own home. It is all up to you and your family how you want your session to look.

FAQ


Where are you based?

I live in Robinson, IL but service from Indianapolis to St. Louis. 


Do you have a studio?

Yes! My studio is located downtown on the square in Robinson, IL.  


What type of sessions do you photograph? 

I enjoy photographing all session types but documenting every season of motherhood has my heart. I specialize in intimate maternity and newborn photography.


What’s your style?

I have a non-traditional shooting style. I consider my work a beautifully balanced blend of posed and lifestyle photography. I gently guide my clients throughout the session to create a variety of natural emotive imagery. I'm a lover of details big and small. I gravitate towards capturing moments that make you feel something.


When do you schedule sessions?

Studio sessions are scheduled between 1PM-4PM when lighting is best in the studio. 

Outdoor sessions are scheduled 1-2 hours before the sunsets. This is when lighting is best. The sun is low, soft and luminous. 

If you need special accommodations on days and times, please let me know so we can work something out.


What locations do you use? 

I always recommend the studio. It truly is the best. But you'd like an outdoor session, we decide on a location based on your completed questionnaire which helps me execute your vision for the session.


Can I print my images myself?

Yes. All my sessions include edited/retouched images + print release via digital download. You’re encouraged to order professional prints directly from your online gallery for quality purposes. 


I want to work with you! How do I book my session? 

Select the session type you’re interested in booking and complete the contact form.

I will determine if we are a good fit after I review your questionnaire. If we are, you ill receive the invoice for your $200 retainer via text. This is due to continue with booking.


How long does my session last?

  • Milestone or mini sessions are roughly 30 minutes.
  • Regular sessions typically run 60-90 minutes.
  • Newborn sessions 2-3 hours.  


What do I wear? 

The infamous client closet is available for browsing and borrowing! This includes a collection of dresses in sizes XS to XXL. Sessions include a private fitting appointment to browse, try on, and coordinate outfits for your session. Online browsing catalog coming soon.


Should I get my hair and makeup done professionally? 

Yessss! I highly recommend professional hair and makeup. My favorites are below!

If you do not wish to hire a professional, please please please at the minimum wear mascara and do you hair in an easy style such as soft curls.


What happens if the weather is bad?

For outdoor sessions, cloudy weather is not a problem. However, if it rains, snows, hails, bad wind, etc. I will contact you as soon as possible to postpone or reschedule or change the location to the studio. 


I’m excited to see my photos! When will they be ready?

Eek... I’m excited to share them! Galleries are completed within 2 weeks.
