Hello & welcome! My name is Summer Rain Rains (yes, my middle name & last name are now the same thanks to my husband).
I am based in Southeastern Illinois but don't let that stop you! Reach out no matter where you are from so that I can capture memories for you to remember YEARS down the road.
My goal as your photographer is to be with you every step of the way, create an amazing & fun experience for you, and to capture photos that you will be so excited to print & hang on your wall. If you want photos of the authentic you, then you have found the right photographer!
I grew up in Southeast Michigan & went to school at Michigan Tech University. I graduated in 2019 & I now live in Illinois with my husband, Collin. We are expecting our first little one this December and we are proud dog parents of two Alaskan Malamutes, Winter & Zane. I have been doing photography for four years now & first picked up a camera when I was living in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The UP is famous for its waterfalls, scenic overlooks & Lake Superior as its natural border. You may have heard of the UP referred to as 'God's Country' due to its outstanding beauty & peaceful atmosphere.
I am very passionate about giving back & volunteering which is why I have decided to use photography to do so. At the end of each year, a portion of photo session proceeds are donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital as one lump sum. I would love for you to book me as your photographer so that we can all come together as one to give back & help others.
